I'm not getting notifications / task reminders

Planta will send a push notifications / reminders to your device(s) when there is one or several tasks to complete in the app.

If you are not receiving notifications / reminders, check the following in your iPhone settings:

iOS:

1. Go to iPhone Settings > Notifications, select Planta, and make sure that Allow Notifications is on
2. If you have notifications turned on for Planta but you're not receiving alerts, you might not have Banners selected. Go to iPhone Settings > Notifications, select Planta, then select Banners

Android:

1. Open your phone's settings app.
2. Tap Apps & notifications. Notifications.
3. Under “Recently Sent,” tap an app.
4. Tap a type of notification.
5. Choose your options: Choose Alerting or Silent. To see a banner for alerting notifications when your phone is unlocked, turn on Pop on screen.

Also check the following in the Planta app settings:

1. Go to "My Plants" tab
2. Tap the settings icon in the top right corner (gear icon)
3. Tap "Notifications"
4. Make sure all switches are turned on
5. It is also recommended that you turn all switches off and then turn on again (just to be sure)
6. Set the time when you want to recieve notifications

Now wait until the next time you should get a notification to complete a task in the app and make sure it is now working, otherwise contact support through the app.
