I have a new device, how do I access my Planta account?First of all check this: When you open the Planta app for the first time on your new device, it is easy to make the mistake of creating a new second account by following the steps in the sign up instead of using the smaller button to sign in. As you now have created a second account all your plants and your premium status will not show up on your new device.

Which login method should I choose?There are a few different options you can choose from when you first sign up to Planta: you can either choose to have a completely anonymous account, Sign up with Apple, Sign up with Google, or Sign up with email. These options can somewhat impact how you use Planta. Here's a guide to help you choose which option is best for you. We usually recommend using the 'Sign up with email' option.

Where you are on the planet affects how much water and what type of care your plants need. Contact info (Email address): We use your email if you choose to create an account (you can also be anonymous). This is so you can save your plants and tracked data within the app.

I just downloaded this app. Am I going to be charged?The Planta app is free to download and use, and you will not incur any charges from simply downloading it or creating a Planta account. If you wish to subscribe to our paid service called Planta premium, you can subscribe to Premium monthly, or on a three month or 12 month basis from within the app. More information on our pricing is available in the premium tab in the app.

How to change Apple login to an email loginTo change your Apple ID login follow the steps below: Go to the "My Plants" tab Tap Settings (gear at the top right corner) Tap "Account" Then click on "Password" Verify by logging in to your Apple account and enter a password for the account. Tap on "Email" and change the email adress to the one you want to use. After this is done you will be able to login using the email option.

I'm not getting notifications / task remindersPlanta will send a push notifications / reminders to your device(s) (maximum one alert per day) when there is one or several tasks to complete in the app. If you are not receiving notifications / reminders, check the following in your iPhone settings: iOS: Go to iPhone Settings > Notifications, select Planta, and make sure that Allow Notifications is on If you have notifications turned on for Planta but you're not receiving alerts, you might not have Banners selected.

Can I share my account and plants with someone else, like a family member or friend?Sometimes you want to share the plants and care schedule in your account with someone else-- for example a family member or a friend that will help out with watering while you're on vacation. At the moment there is no way to share plants among different Planta accounts, but you can use the same account on two different devices to keep track of the same plants. Just log in with the email and password connected to your account on both devices.

How can I remove or cancel my account?You can fully delete your account and remove all data by doing the following: Note that by doing this all your plants and other data will be deleted and there is no way to reverse this. Open Planta Go to the "My Plants" tab Tap "Settings" (gear at the top right corner) Go into "Account settings" At the bottom you'll see an option to delete the account and all data Remember that there is no way to undo this once you choose to delete all your data, including all your plants If you still want to delete your account, follow the flow to complete the deletion When a Planta account is deleted, the data associated with the account are anonymized and all personal data and details are removed from Planta.
